With Act for Food, launched in September 2018, we are highlighting our commitment to better food that is accessible to everyone. Act for Food is the global programme of specific actions that we are putting in place everywhere, in every country in which we operate.
Thanks to this pioneering approach, we are urging our agricultural partners and all food chain stakeholders to achieve higher standards in terms of quality, traceability and environmental protection. Every year, we support several hundred farmers as they switch to organic farming. For our customers, we are reinventing our food offering to provide the widest variety of organic products, fresh food, locally-produced foods and labelled products through an omnichannel platform that simplifies everyday shopping.

The first retailer in France to have opened the hypermarket format and to grow internationally with Brazil in 1975, today we are rethinking our business model to ensure it stays in tune with the times, to give each consumer the means of eating healthily, sustainably and locally through a product offering that meets strict quality criteria.
