In the exceptional context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alexandre Bompard, Chief Executive Officer, has informed the Board of Directors which met today that he has decided to waive 25% of his fixed salary for a period of two months, corresponding to the peak of the crisis.

Alexandre Bompard also informed the Board of Directors of his decision to freeze the fixed salaries of all Group Executive Committee members for the whole of 2020, and that he has asked them to waive 10% of their fixed salaries for a period of two months.

In addition, Alexandre Bompard and members of Carrefour Group's Board of Directors have decided to reduce their directors’ fees by 25% for the current year.

The money saved will be used to fund solidarity initiatives for Group employees in France and abroad.
